2006		OK Biotech Co., Ltd. founded in Hsinchu, Taiwan Founded by James Lai, the current CEO, OK Biotech started researching and developing the first model of our blood glucose meter and blood glucose test strips. Began trial production of blood glucose meter and blood glucose test strips.
2007		Received ISO13485, quality system certification for medical devices, from TÜV SÜD Germany. Received GMP quality certification from Department of Health, Taiwan. First product model, OKmeter Blood Glucose Monitoring System, received clearance of FDA 510(K) from USA and CE0123 certification from TÜV SÜD Germany.
2008		Began mass production and export of OKmeter Blood Glucose Monitoring System. Developed blood glucose meter with talking function.
2009- 2010		OKmeter Match Blood Glucose Monitoring System received clearance of FDA510(K) from USA. Developed various models of blood glucose meters and blood glucose test strips, and received related certifications for exporting and marketing. Received approval for Emerging Strategic Market from Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs. Received accomplishment certificate for Emerging Strategic Market from Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs. Oct. 2010－Granted supplementary procedures for classification as a public company by Securities and Futures Bureau, Financial Supervisory Commission, Taiwan. Dec. 2010－Listed on the Emerging Stock Market
2011-Present		Multiple medical products developed and certified. May 2013 Celebrated the grand opening of OK Biotech’s own building.
